The Notification Systems Foundation course focuses on the daily tasks you perform with your Altiris Solutions. In this highly technical class, you will learn the essential setup and configuration options available with Notification Server 6.0 as well as best practices for network design, package server configuration, and Web report generation. Prerequisites

• Basic understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Windows
• Familiarity with networking concepts, including LANs, network adapter cards, drivers, and network operating systems
• Familiarity with computer hardware components such as hubs, switches, and routers
• (Optional, but recommended) Familiarity using VMware

Audience
Anyone who will be installing, configuring, and managing Altiris solutions. Anyone working toward their Altiris Certified Professional (ACP) or Altiris Certified Engineer (ACE) certifications.
