In the Deployment Solution Foundation course, you learn how to remotely install, configure, set up and manage computers. You will also learn to migrate computers to new operating systems, move users to new operating systems or hardware from an easy-to-use console, saving you time and money. Download syllabus

Prerequisites

• Basic understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, and 2003
• Familiarity with networking concepts, LANs, network cards, drivers, and operating systems
• Familiarity with computer hardware components such as hubs, switches, and routers
• (Optional, but recommended) Familiarity using VMware

Audience
Anyone who will be installing, configuring, and managing a Deployment Solution system. Anyone working toward their Altiris Certified Professional (ACP) or Altiris Certified Engineer (ACE) certifications. and customers conducting pre-purchase assessments.
